Building Department |
The City
of Desloge Building Department reviews plans, issues
permits, and conducts inspections in accordance with the
city's building codes. Permits are required for
new building construction, construction of an addition,
altering or changing the use of an existing building,
fencing, pools, and for the construction of building
systems like mechanical, electrical or plumbing.
The City
of Desloge utilizes the following code for the control

The fee
for the initial permit is governed by the City Code to
cover the administrative costs of verifying setbacks,
conformity to zoning regulations, lot coverage
regulations, parking requirements, etc. To apply
for a building permit an applicant must complete a
building permit application form, provide at least one
copy of both the plat and plot plan (to be retained by
the Building Inspector), and pay all applicable fees.
Fee Schedule:
The following non-refundable fees shall
be paid by the applicant at the time of application

Each re-inspection that may
occur following the correction of violations found
during the initial inspection shall be twenty-five
dollars ($25.00).
